Dermatology
The skin is the body's largest organ and as we tend to view our our skin as part of our personality, skib problems are one of our most common health concerns. Skin conditions and outbreaks are among the 5 most common reasons to request help from the general practitioner (fastlegen).
As experienced specialist doctors, dermatologists may often quickly assess and diagnose common skin problems.
Many common conditions do not require a face to face consultation or physical examination in order to properly assess the problem and prescribe treatment. Online, we use your photos of the affected area, close-up and 'arial' photo, provided the images is taken in good light conditions and with a steady hand.
However, some skin conditions may not be diagnosed online or from a distance. Birthmarks assessed for malignancy fall into this category, and may only be tested and assessed by physcial examination. Technology is rapidly evolving, and tools for screening for skin cancer will be implemented as soon as they are available.
